#ChurpOut2012

Cheer Aces All Stars were invited to perform at #ChurpOut2012. We had such a good time albeit things didn't turn out as planned. We were suppose to perform in a large covered outdoor area but the sky started pouring so heavily! We were force to cram into the corridors of Publika but everything turned out well.
Manda & I dolling up for the show (:
With Cheesie from Cheeserland & Audrey from Fourfeetnine !
Super cute bag that was for sale at the Fashion Bazaar held at ChurpOut. Would've grabbed it if it didn't cost a bomb.
Performance pictures credited to ChurpChurp. Like them on Facebook (:
Manda dunking a random girl! Anyone who got dunked received three mystery gifts. Would've went on the dunking machine if I wasn't in my uniform & had extra clothes with me! Topshop and H&M vouchers were up for grabs!
SPCA was also at the event. They had set up a booth for "pet rental". Basically you donate RM10 & in return, you get to walk/own a dog for 30 minutes. These dogs were so adorable!
Decided to tour around Publika after our performance because most of us haven't had the chance to do so in the past. Love how it is filled with independent stores & boutiques. Not your usual fashion stores.
Lollipop-made Mannequin. I wonder how long it took the artist to make this?
One of my favourite stores that we popped by called Kaleidoscope located on Level G3. They had a range of clothes to stationery, body products & some miscellaneous items.
Really cute notebooks for sale.
My absolute fav were these travel notebooks. Pages filled with things to do, places to see & your all-important check list when you travel. Seeing how I'm traveling so often this time of the year, it would've been perfect. But of course, it had to cost about RM50. My heart broke.
Last shot before we left.
Purchases for the day from Audrey & Cheesie's booth. Nabbed the red bodycon skirt for RM15 and that gorgeous dress for RM20. Their booth was the busiest amongst all! I have so many pre-loved items I would like to clear from my closet to make way for all my purchases from Bangkok (Haul coming up soon!). Say, would you buy pre-loved items from my closet?

Just a thought.

Studded Boots

Came across this gorgeous pair of Steve Madden studded boots in Singapore last month which was on SALE but sadly, ran out of my size! My heart broke. I guess it just wasn't meant to be! & so my hunt for a pretty pair of boots continues.

*Flying off to Bangkok tomorrow. Look out for a haul when I get back! (:

Japan/LUSH haul.

As seen on my Instagram account, this will be a more in-depth haul of my Japan trip!
Clockwise from the Top Left;
1. Lily brown clutch that came free with VIVI's September issue. I couldn't resist, it was too cute! Now I'm left flipping through a magazine filled with Japanese words, only looking at clothes to hopefully get a couple of outfit ideas.
2. LUSH products (to be continued)
3. Oxford Wedges bought off a boutique in Shinjuku Street.
& then there are the results of my love for knits, a dog-printed cardigan & blue sweater from H&M, Japan and an aztec-printed sweater from another boutique in Shibuya 109.

Came across LUSH in Japan & got really, really, really excited! I've been watching LUSH hauls & reviews on youtube and we don't have a branch here in Malaysia. Walked in determined to purchase a few items.

The trouble was that everything was written in Japanese. Non of the staff on duty spoke English & we were left communicating via hand gestures. Thankfully, they knew simple & necessary words as a staff in a beauty store such as, scrubs, face masks, moisturizers etc. Came home & did a little research on the products I bought. Pictures from here on have been taken from the internet because all of my items are printed in Japanese *(:

Ocean Salt Fabe & Body Scrub. I love love love the smell of this scrub. Was deciding between the smaller tub & the bigger one because it was really pricey for a scrub but I settled for the larger tub in the end knowing that I won't be visiting a LUSH store anytime soon! It feels amazing on my skin & I can't wait to give it a full try.

My next purchase is the Love Lettuce fresh face mask. I was told by a staff that this mask was for people with dry skin but most LUSH sites recommend this product for people with oily/combination skin. Ah well, I'd use it as an exfoliator because it works perfectly in that manner! Doesn't smell too great but the results are lovely.
My last & final purchase was this gorgeous primer/highlighter. It is said to reflect light which then provides a brighter complexion. You can use it on it's own or mix it in with your daily moisturizer or foundation. A cheaper & better alternative to Benefit's High Beam, so I've heard (:

Bummed that I didn't get to buy Bath Bombs because we don't have any bath tubs here at home. Can't wait til LUSH reaches Malaysian shores! Til then, the closest one would be in Singapore. Will hopefully be updating this space regularly. Follow me on bloglovin' if you have an account (:

Here's to new beginnings.
Much love
