Bangkok Haul

Visited Bangkok back in October & these (+ more) are what I came home with.
Bangkok was amazing. Everything you see above was purchased at THB250 (RM25 give or take) and under, except the studded-collar denim top in the first picture which I bought for RM32. It was shopping paradise for a shopaholic like myself I must say, preparing this haul took quite awhile! I had so many pictures taken, tried all sorts of different layouts & finally concluded that folding my clothes would be most efficient. This would be my 5th visit to Thailand but my first to Bangkok. It will definitely not be my last but I won't get to fly over again in awhile considering that uni begins next year (which I'm really excited for!).
On a more helpful note, if you plan to visit Bangkok, my top shopping spots to recommend would be Pratunam Market, Platinum Mall & Chatuchak market. Things in Pratunam Market are really, really cheap & the best part is that there is no major haggling required. As for Platinum mall, store owners are much stricter in terms of price. You'd have to purchase a minimum or 3 pieces before they lower prices so it's best if you travel with a bunch of girlfriends like I did (: Most night markets on the streets are worth your time as well.
Last but not least, if you follow me on instagram, you would've seen my picture with coconut ice cream. It's a MUST TRY if you're in Bangkok. I had about 3 servings in 2 days! Coconut ice cream served in it's shell & comes with it's flesh. Delicious beyond words hahaha, probably a little exaggerated but it's great for something that's only THB30 (RM3).

Have a great day, everyone. x

Amanda's 19th

Dress:  Love by Z | Necklace: Miccaz | Watch: Gift from mum
Shoes: Deicy Doll
Clutch: Free from Japan's VIVI Magazine
The birthday girl looking stunning as always. She has been one of my best friends since we were 13 year's old. 7 years & counting! I remember our first Cheerleading practice together. 13 years of age & always comparing who had the prettier cartwheel. We bonded through dance, boys & cheer, we were (and still are) inseparable. To think that we are so different yet so alike. She is one of those friends you can sit in absolute silence with & not feel a tinge of awkwardness. Yes! There's so much to love about this gal.

Most pictures from here on out were taken by Terence. Thanks hun!

The iPad Mini

While Mum & I were strolling through the duty free section of Melbourne Airport last Sunday morning, we came across a small Apple section. & of course, the iPad Mini caught her eye. It had only been released two days back, at that time. If you don't already know, my mum has always been pretty tech-savvy if you asked me.
Within minutes, she purchased it! Except she had done so without asking if it could run on 3G (which is the key operation she looks for in a device). Before she realized it, her payment has already gone through. You'd think, thankfully Apple does refunds! Swiped mum's card 6 times & they were all denied, so the refund didn't happen......
voilĂ , it now belongs to yours truly.
I must say that I really love the size. Always thought the usual iPad was just a wee bit too big for my liking. This one fits just right! (p/s: I have pretty small hands)
The only matter was that it came with an Austrlian socket-compatible charger head.
Thankfully, i can just switch it out! (:
Here's the size comparison between the iPad mini & your usual iPad.
I'm sure Apple will release the one with 3G & mum's probably gonna buy that one too but I'm really happy with this one. & since I now have an iPad, I'm thinking of switching from my blackberry to a Samsung Galaxy instead of the iPhone5. Loads of complaints, I've heard. It'll be good to have variation. Can't put up with my Blackberry any longer. It hangs 10 times a day on average!

Til next time,
x
