Sunny Side Up

Purchased my very first Bath Melt from LUSH called Sunny Side  back when I was in Melbourne, early November. We had a bath tub at the serviced apartments where we stayed & so i took advantage of that opportunity and went ahead with a bubble bath! Thought I would share that experience with you guys for no apparent reason.
The Sunny Side Bath Melt. Now, the difference between a Bath Bomb & a Bath Melt is that a Bath Melt has more essential oils included in it's ingredients & is more moisturizing towards our skin.
Loved how it matched my Blackberry cover! All that glitter ♥.
I broke & used only half of it as recommended by the sales assistant. Half was sufficient.

While I was waiting, I noticed that a heart-shaped foam was forming! *So exciting*
& there you go, my fully formed heart-shaped foam.
Perfection (':
& then this happened as the water kept flowing. I somewhat felt like Moses who parted the red sea at this point of time. Came out of the bath with glitter all over!

All in all, it was an enjoyable bubble bath & I absolutely LOVED the smell of Sunny Side. I left the other half in my luggage & I was greeted with a heavenly smell when I unpacked it back home! (: I do not own a bath tub at home so I'd just have to wait for my next getaway before I can splurge on Bath Bombs/Melts again.

2 days til Christmas!
Are you excited?

Rain or Shine.

 Knitted Sweater: H&M Japan
Black Skinnies: H&M Singapore
Ankle Wedged Boots: Cotton On Australia
Flower Necklace: Forever 21
Watch: Vincci

It was my first day in Melbourne, Australia back in October & I had already experienced all 4 seasons in one day! It was raining when I first looked out my window, turned my attention to the tele for about 10 minutes, looked out again & there was Mr. Sun shining ever so brightly. I now know what all my friends who live in Melbourne mean when they complain about how horrid the weather is!
Right back to where I started, I am in love with these H&M skinnies. I got them awhile back & wish I had purchased them in every colour. I don't know if they are still for sale (highly doubt so) but I'm on a hunt to find something similar! As for the Ankle Wedged Boots, I bought them for AUD5 *queues jaws to drop* I was squealing when I read the sign "$5 SHOES", hurried to that section and tried on almost every pair on that shelf. Bought one in black too in that exact design because I could not resist such a good deal! Perfect for traveling & cold weather. Pictures of my trip are now up on Facebook (:

Thanks for reading! x

Tis' the Season to Shop!

If you are an avid online shopper, you should know about Markets (previously known as Chic Pop)! This will be the 8th installment of Markets & the final one of the year 2012. Happening this Saturday,
8th of December
from 11am-6pm at Jaya One, of course (:
Come pop by because I'll be there vending along side Jia Xin & Hweii Chiee from Glam Tags (check her out!).  Xin & I will be setting up our booth as Red Velvet Ribbons for the last time. I will no longer be in Malaysia next year so we have decided that this will be our final batch (debuting at Markets!). Head on over to our website & have a look of our existing items beforehand. All prices will be marked down this Saturday! If anything happens to catch your eye, let me know because we'll be able to reserve the item for you & you can pick it up here at Markets. I sure am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Moving right along. I have asked some of you if you would be interested to shop my closet & I have received some pretty positive response! (: Good news, ladies. I will be participating in a pre-loved bazaar organized by FriendlyFashion.my -a site that hosts all things pre-loved. The bazaar will be held within the PBD Street Carnival 2012. To add on to that, there will also be a swap party held at the event itself! More info here. Read up if you're looking to swap some of your clothes.
*note: All booths are sold out so there are no more space for vendors, sorry!
We have two booths in total, shared among these gorgeous gals:
(pictures from my 19th birthday)
& a primary school friend of mine. Haven't seen her in ages so I don't have a recent picture with her. I will consider posting a few outfits up for sale before the actual event (: Come & help clear our closets! Everything will be going for real cheap. I will be putting up shoes for sale as well so if you are a Vincci shoe size 5/6 or a UK size 37, come & try some of my shoes! I've already sold 2 pairs online via friendlyfashion.my to 2 very lovely and satisfied customers.

Do let me know if you're coming! Looking forward to meet everyone.

Bangkok Haul

Visited Bangkok back in October & these (+ more) are what I came home with.
Bangkok was amazing. Everything you see above was purchased at THB250 (RM25 give or take) and under, except the studded-collar denim top in the first picture which I bought for RM32. It was shopping paradise for a shopaholic like myself I must say, preparing this haul took quite awhile! I had so many pictures taken, tried all sorts of different layouts & finally concluded that folding my clothes would be most efficient. This would be my 5th visit to Thailand but my first to Bangkok. It will definitely not be my last but I won't get to fly over again in awhile considering that uni begins next year (which I'm really excited for!).
On a more helpful note, if you plan to visit Bangkok, my top shopping spots to recommend would be Pratunam Market, Platinum Mall & Chatuchak market. Things in Pratunam Market are really, really cheap & the best part is that there is no major haggling required. As for Platinum mall, store owners are much stricter in terms of price. You'd have to purchase a minimum or 3 pieces before they lower prices so it's best if you travel with a bunch of girlfriends like I did (: Most night markets on the streets are worth your time as well.
Last but not least, if you follow me on instagram, you would've seen my picture with coconut ice cream. It's a MUST TRY if you're in Bangkok. I had about 3 servings in 2 days! Coconut ice cream served in it's shell & comes with it's flesh. Delicious beyond words hahaha, probably a little exaggerated but it's great for something that's only THB30 (RM3).

Have a great day, everyone. x

Amanda's 19th

Dress:  Love by Z | Necklace: Miccaz | Watch: Gift from mum
Shoes: Deicy Doll
Clutch: Free from Japan's VIVI Magazine
The birthday girl looking stunning as always. She has been one of my best friends since we were 13 year's old. 7 years & counting! I remember our first Cheerleading practice together. 13 years of age & always comparing who had the prettier cartwheel. We bonded through dance, boys & cheer, we were (and still are) inseparable. To think that we are so different yet so alike. She is one of those friends you can sit in absolute silence with & not feel a tinge of awkwardness. Yes! There's so much to love about this gal.

Most pictures from here on out were taken by Terence. Thanks hun!

The iPad Mini

While Mum & I were strolling through the duty free section of Melbourne Airport last Sunday morning, we came across a small Apple section. & of course, the iPad Mini caught her eye. It had only been released two days back, at that time. If you don't already know, my mum has always been pretty tech-savvy if you asked me.
Within minutes, she purchased it! Except she had done so without asking if it could run on 3G (which is the key operation she looks for in a device). Before she realized it, her payment has already gone through. You'd think, thankfully Apple does refunds! Swiped mum's card 6 times & they were all denied, so the refund didn't happen......
voilĂ , it now belongs to yours truly.
I must say that I really love the size. Always thought the usual iPad was just a wee bit too big for my liking. This one fits just right! (p/s: I have pretty small hands)
The only matter was that it came with an Austrlian socket-compatible charger head.
Thankfully, i can just switch it out! (:
Here's the size comparison between the iPad mini & your usual iPad.
I'm sure Apple will release the one with 3G & mum's probably gonna buy that one too but I'm really happy with this one. & since I now have an iPad, I'm thinking of switching from my blackberry to a Samsung Galaxy instead of the iPhone5. Loads of complaints, I've heard. It'll be good to have variation. Can't put up with my Blackberry any longer. It hangs 10 times a day on average!

Til next time,
x
